Follow-up Comment #17, bug #48689 (project octave):
@Pantxo: I agree that I would love to have our OpenGL code reviewed by someone
who is an expert in this domain. It's not that we are bad coders, its just
not my area of expertise and I'm sure somebody who does graphics all the time
would have lots of small fixes.
Should this bug gate the 5.1 release? I lean towards "No". The reasoning is
that I think this will be a difficult fix, deeply embedded in Octave, and the
chance for side effects is large.
The onely thing I can think of trivially would be to revert to '--loose' by
default so that if there are problems, they are encountered less frequently.
