Follow-up Comment #2, bug #55624 (project octave): Thanks for this patch. Do we want to adjust anything else for the upcoming Octave 5 release? This (Windows only) file currently says: Thank you for installing GNU Octave! Octave 5.0 is a major release with many improvements in Matlab compatibility as well as significant cleanup of the core C++ code. A full list of changes can be found in the Release Notes from the News menu.
