Update of bug #50430 (project octave):
Status: None => Fixed

Follow-up Comment #5:
This looks like an issue with incompatible graphics card drivers.
Since we now ship with an OpenGL software renderer, the crash should no longer
occur.
Closing as fixed.
If you can still crash Octave 4.4.1 or the upcoming Octave 5 with
graphics_toolkit qt, please report back here or open a new bug report.
