Follow-up Comment #17, bug #55047 (project octave):
As a quick test, you can also take one of the builds you have that shows the
crash and do
__init_qt__
mlock ("__init_qt__")
__run_test_suite__
-verbatim+
and see if that works. It should be essentially the same as my change.
