Follow-up Comment #28, bug #55033 (project octave):
@Rik,
If the changed to configure.ac causes problems with other platforms, the
change can be made in src/mkoctfile.in.cc in a manner similar to Windows.
I expect the current implementation which removes the la-files and adds
liboctave and liboctinterp is correct.
