Follow-up Comment #19, bug #48678 (project octave):
Sure, with a warning and deprecation that seems fine to do for this release.
Affected Forge packages seem to include control, ltfat, odepkg, optim,
optiminterp, and sparsersb, as well as the external (non-Octave Forge)
packages dynare and libsbml.
