Follow-up Comment #2:

Reopening.

The stanza JWE added in
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/e721ca8bb801 has been deprecated
in 4.4.x and consequently got removed in octave-6.0.0
(http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/f23f27e78aa2), so now this bug is
back in of-control for Octave-6.0.0.

For the time being I'll put it back in in my own 6.0.0 builds but is it
correctly to suppose this time it's up to the control package maintainer to
fix this?
