Follow-up Comment #9, bug #55196 (project octave): Mike, re op. system suspesion: I def. made sure that's not the case: (1) I have completely disabled hibernation/suspending anyway. (2) Other scripts continue working just fine and making appropriate noises. (3) Even Octave scripts that have never thrown up a plot continue making beeps.
