This item really seems like a candidate for 5.0.0 and thank you for your
contribution Guillaume.

The problem here seems to be the lack of an easy to apply changeset like I
proposed with file #45602.

The +matlab/+lang issue seems to be discussed already and I am fine with it. 
Both files work as described by Guillaume and the Matlab docs and if no one
protests, I will push it next week.
