Follow-up Comment #15, bug #47585 (project octave):

Did you program this to inquire db info just about the file in question?  That
is, one could specify just the name of the file (to be) opened:


>> dbout = dbstatus("testfun")
dbout =

  2x1 struct array containing the fields:

    name
    file
    line
    cond


And presumably make things more efficient if there are already a couple dozen
files open with all sorts of breakpoints.  Maybe when opening the GUI Editor
for the first time one would use "dbstatus()" to get info about every file so
that the command-slot is called just once in that case.
