Follow-up Comment #15, bug #47585 (project octave): Did you program this to inquire db info just about the file in question? That is, one could specify just the name of the file (to be) opened: >> dbout = dbstatus("testfun") dbout = 2x1 struct array containing the fields: name file line cond And presumably make things more efficient if there are already a couple dozen files open with all sorts of breakpoints.
