Update of bug #54668 (project octave): Status: None => Need Info _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thank you for your bug report. You are saying that your program is able to run, and you are able to get simultaneous play and record working on your system's internal sound card? But when you try a different sound device it does not work? I think that suggests that Octave is doing everything correctly that it can to support simultaneous play and record, but there may be a problem at a lower level between the PortAudio library and the Windows device drivers for your hardware.
