I saw that too.  Thing is, I do have gld, and /opt/csw/bin is first in PATH:

# ls -l /opt/csw/bin/gld
-rwxr-xr-x   4 root     bin      11189096 May 24  2015 /opt/csw/bin/gld
# which ld
/usr/ccs/bin/ld
# echo $PATH
/opt/csw/bin:/opt/csw/share:/opt/sfw/bin:/opt/csw/java/jdk1.8.0_171:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/usr/X11/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/opt/csw/share/Adobe

What do I have to say to get it to use gld instead of /usr/ccs/bin/ld?
