Follow-up Comment #5, bug #54180 (project octave): In the last post I didn't rewrite what I had intended as I was watching the original result. The sentence "Throughout the whole test suite there is no file-io.cc-tst fail on the first pass. On the second pass, it starts failing immediately:" is incorrect and should have been rewritten something like: The tests make it all the way to "Fixed test script" test/io.tst before file-io-.cc-tst starts failing.
