Follow-up Comment #8, bug #53539 (project octave):
I don't know whether it is related, but if I start the GUI and execute
__run_test_suite__, several files are opened in the editor and I eventually
dialog windows pop up with warnings about files changed by other applications
and asking whether I want to reload them.
