Details:

The long text (variable "txt") isn't wrapped at the terminal pane's border but
is wrapped at ht apparently looks like some hidden default maximum terminal
width.

For reference, the help txt for e.g., clc is about 80 (or is it 72?) chars
wide.

IMO this is a minor issue, but it's often deceiving when working on long
strings (e.g., when dealing with XML).

I this is intentional, e.g., because of the known terminal pane deficiencies
in the GUI on windows, it would be nice if the default terminal width could be
made configurable.
Or if not feasible, where in the code is it set? so that I can adapt it in my
own builds.
