Follow-up Comment #12, bug #45578 (project octave):

Does this still need to be classified as an "important" issue?  The build
seems to be working pretty well now.  It would be nice if the gnulib part was
not done with a recursive make invocation, but are there any significant
problems with the current arrangement?
