Follow-up Comment #5, bug #52812 (project octave): In this list of the Texinfo manual https://www.gnu.org/software/texinfo/manual/texinfo/texinfo.html#Command-and-Variable-Index at the very beginning is a category that seems to have no subheading or white space that might have been left by a "@ " as the first character. I wonder how that was done.
