Follow-up Comment #6, bug #52542 (project octave): convert_to_str is implemented by each octave_value type by the function convert_to_str_internal. For a real matrix like ones() the code should be in libinterp/octave-value/ov-re-mat.cc. The function convert_to_str internal in that file begins with octave_value retval; dim_vector dv = dims (); octave_idx_type nel = dv.numel (); charNDArray chm (dv); bool warned = false; for (octave_idx_type i = 0; i < nel; i++) This looks alright, unless the constructor for charNDArray is somehow not doing the right thing. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?52542> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
