Follow-up Comment #3:
The size had already been corrected on the development branch of Octave. I
changed it to return NaN values, rather than zeros, when the condition number
is NaN in this cset http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/0643533930e7.
Marking as fixed and closing report.
To access this fix you will need to build from development sources, or wait
until the next major release 4.4.0.
