Follow-up Comment #8, bug #52479 (project octave): Hello, results of: a = "\t\ta\tb\tc\n" textscan(a, '%s', 'delimiter', {sprintf('\t')}) is: ans = cell {1×1 cell} with Matlab R2017a (Windows®). I don't think that the code I'm working with uses double quotes (cf.
