URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51872> Summary: erroneous syntax highlighting in GUI editor Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: hardy Submitted on: Sun 27 Aug 2017 06:20:12 PM UTC Category: GUI Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Regression Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Some (random?) code parts in the GUI editor become "highlighted" with gray background. (I haven't figured out what the logic behind this is.) Here is how to reproduce it: * start the Octave-GUI (--no-init-file) * just as a random example: type "edit colorbar" and look at code line 201 or 247. * alternatively type "edit plot" and look at code line 204. I will attach screenshots of this. I have observed this in the current default branch of Octave (hg id 58435a400d4e), compiled under (Ubuntu 16.04) linux. This does not happen (on the same pc) with a self-compiled Octave 4.2.1 release tar-ball. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 27 Aug 2017 06:20:12 PM UTC Name: Screenshot_Colorbar-L201.png Size: 71KiB By: hardy <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=41680> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 27 Aug 2017 06:20:12 PM UTC Name: Screenshot_Plot-L204.png Size: 75KiB By: hardy <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=41681> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51872> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
