Follow-up Comment #2, bug #51805 (project octave):

1. the —enable-64 flag is irrelevant.

2. address@hidden:~/octave$ grep ^BISON_ Makefile
BISON_API_PREFIX_DECL_STYLE = api brace
BISON_PUSH_PULL_DECL_STYLE = dash 

3. $ wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-2.7.tar.gz
