Follow-up Comment #12, bug #50640 (project octave):

pn(3.3) fails for me because the global variable RNNumber has the default
value of an otherwise uninitialized global variable (an empty matrix).  What
is it supposed to be?  Or, can you simplify the pn constructor to not require
this global variable and still demonstrate the problem?
