Follow-up Comment #20, bug #50102 (project octave):

It is minor because it has no effect.  isempty() will return true, no
functions, like sin(), will calculate anything because there are no numbers on
which to calculate.  Matlab is very clear that the concept of "empty" does not
mean 0x0 as humans think.  Their functions often return 1x0 or 0x1 or other
odd combinations.
