Update of bug #49348 (project octave): Status: None => Postponed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Octave uses one byte for char arrays. Matlab uses wchar_t or 2 bytes for each character. I believe you can generate the same problems with Matlab if you have a UTF-32 character. I've marked this as postponed.
