Follow-up Comment #44, bug #49216 (project octave):
On my Win7 machine I get the same results as Dmitri in comment #40 and #42,
see attached screenshot.
So there seems to be a general problem with the font rendering stack in qt
plots under Windows OS. I think this is now more than just a matter of taste.
