Follow-up Comment #10, bug #49223 (project octave):

I know about the png output, and it is now very nice indeed, but still,
everything has its uses. I know nothing about svg, though, and I am not sure
if I'll open a new front! Thanks for the tip anyway. I hope the corners in the
interaction with the gnuplot backend will be rounded though.
