Follow-up Comment #2, bug #48838 (project octave): I still use the ocdcdf package myself and the last bug-fix release was 7 months ago. But I do not use octcdf for any new projects and I progressively migrating my code to the octave netcdf package. So technically octcdf is still maintained (but obsolete).
