Update of bug #48285 (project octave):
Status: Need Info => Fixed
Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________
Follow-up Comment #5:
I have turned the four failing tests into xtests to mark them as expected
failures, since there appear to be a lot of systems out there with math
libraries that are broken:
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/18af3ea1d387
This does not address the two failing tests that appear to be off by some
small tolerance, this only addresses the four tests explicitly added to make
sure that the functions return the right asymptotic values for large magnitude
arguments (i.e., bug #45507), which the broken math libraries don't.
If someone really wants to fix the other (not newly added) tests that are now
failing, also due to older buggy math libraries, that can be reported and
handled separately.
