Details:

The documentation for stable seems to have suffered a regression.  The @qcode
macro is now introducing a newline before it in the PDF version of the manual.
 Interestingly, this is only on the stable branch.  The default branch still
renders things correctly.

I am attaching two images which show part of the docstring for the sum
function on both the stable and default branch.  It's pretty easy to spot the
difference.

At least the current pdf manual on the Octave website does not have this
problem.
