Follow-up Comment #116, bug #44478 (project octave):

The reason the __gl_{extensions,renderer,vendor,version}__ properties are
empty after doing something like


figure visible off
sombrero


is because no rendering actually happens for invisible figures so no context
is created.  However, if you print the invisible figure, then you should see
some information in the properties if you are using OSMesa to do the
rendering.
