Follow-up Comment #1, bug #47672 (project octave):
The function "patch" does not correctly handle mixes of structures and
prop/value pairs either which work in Matlab.
This patch completely removes the special handling of struct input in "patch".
This resolves this issue and the one described in comment #0 for the default
branch (needs changeset 38c0c1f5cf57 for mixes of structures and prop/value
pairs).
