Details:
I'm on debian testing/unstable. I can reproduce the bug below with 4.0.0 and
4.0.1
in a octave-cli session, when I start an editor with the edit function and try
to interrupt an octave script with ctrl-c afterwards, the editor session
crashes. Within octave itself the interrupt works as expected as far as I can
see.
It looks like the interrupt gets somehow forwarded to the editor.
I have tried the "async" as well as the "synch" mode (with the EDITOR command
with an & at the end) and I have tried to detach the stdin of the editor
using
EDITOR("nedit %s </dev/null")
Also I have tried emacs as well as nedit. That all doesn't make any
difference.
