Thanks for all your work on this, Philip.

You mentioned earlier that with these my changesets backed out you still got a
crash with the LMB.  (I assume you were referring to 65827e9cccb8 and
94fc5f13d51b applied 13 days ago).  If that is the case, then it seems that
keeping trying without these changesets would be best.

If you have backed out 65827e9cccb8, then file #36310 should probably not
apply.  If it crashes with file #36310 applied just after that patch, then we
should probably debug that version, rather than looking for a version that
doesn't crash, shouldn't we?
