Follow-up Comment #5, bug #46884 (project octave):

*(1) What is the purpose of "Run Selection" in the command window? Running the
selected text from the command window or from the editor?*

It would be to execute the selected text in the command window. I do find it
useful in the command window, e.g. to execute a small selection of a longer
command previously typed.

So if you highlighted "a=1" in the Editor and also "a=2" in the Command
Window, the code executed would depend on which window has the focus.


*(2) But there are also applications having undo/redo in context menu: geany,
thunderbird mail composition, gedit, ...
What about just moving them downwards?*

Yes, that would be fantastic. Sorry again for seeming like an ingrate - all I
should have said was to request Run Selection at the top of the context menu.
Undo/Redo occupy those spots currently, that's all I meant.
