Details:
referring to a recent help list discussion [1], it seems that the new Qt
graphics don't respect plot order when plots overlap. if run with the three
different graphics toolkits, Qt looks different from gnuplot or fltk. For the
latter, whichever plot is 'first' is always on top where they overlap. For
Qt, the + plot is always on top whether it is first or second in the list.
>> close all;
>> x = 0:0.1:20;
>> y1 = sin(x); y2 = cos(x);
>> plot(x , y1, 'r+', 'markersize', 10, x, y2, 'y', 'linewidth',
4);legend('y1','y2');
>> figure;
>> plot(x, y2, 'y', 'linewidth', 4, x , y1, 'r+', 'markersize',
10);legend('y2','y1');
This seems to be a regression from previous versions before Qt was a generally
available option, and gnuplot and fltk match the Matlab behavior if visual
compatibility is necessary.
