Follow-up Comment #8, bug #46292 (project octave):

Thanks for the clarification. In my example the paperposition and the figure
position are set to the same value (in centimeters), so that no rescaling
should be needed (as for "auto" paperpositionmode).
But now I see that there is always the "draw and let gl2ps capture
coordinates" step.
