Details:

Attached is the result of 'make |& tee mymake.log' after Octave has already
been built.  It should be straightforward, since there is nothing to actually
build, but instead there are many files which are generated twice and two
files which are generated three times.  In all cases nothing has changed so
move-if-changed rule does not replace the file.  But this seems like a lot of
unnecessary overhead and probably indicates that we don't have the build
system fully configured correctly.

mymake.log : log file of build
duplicates.list: shows files built multiple times along with repeat count.
