Follow-up Comment #10, bug #45951 (project octave):

I am fine with leaving users the task of adding the relevant .jar files to
their Java path. 

@Philip: I didn't mention xmlwrite which is also essential I agree: at least I
need it for my project (read/modify/write svg files). I will look into all
this in the coming weeks.
