Follow-up Comment #7, bug #45864 (project octave):

I was about to test also, I see jwe already pushed that one:

So remaining is to clear functions associated with an oct-file in mkoctfile
before attempting to compile it? I took a look at the return value of the
autoload function, could be used to search for symbols in a given oct filename
that has more than one DEFUN.
