Follow-up Comment #1:

Looks like this may be due to either OpenGL or OSMesa. Do you happen to be
using NVIDIA drivers and OpenGL stack? Can you try


$ ./run-octave --path ../libinterp/dldfcn --eval "test __osmesa_print__"


Does that also segfault? If so, I think this is still an open issue. If not,
do you get segfaults from running any plots or demos of plot functions
interactively?
