Follow-up Comment #50, bug #42838 (project octave): https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?42838#comment25 Please take the last Ethan's reply in http://sourceforge.net/p/gnuplot/bugs/1561/ I don't know what was happening in the Octave->gnuplot original example, but I think the introduction of "set mono" has probably changed things.
