Follow-up Comment #33, bug #44916 (project octave):

OK, one question is whether this is a strictly Qt issue.  I was under that
impression, but I'm not certain if there's even a distinction.  Both Qt and
fltk use the __opengl_print__.m command.  So, even though Qt and fltk are
different frameworks, it may be the environment of the executing program that
influences the behavior.  And that environment may be attributed to Qt in the
case of GUI operation and --no-gui operation.  In terms of environment,
--no-gui and normal operation are the same.  It's the --no-gui-libs option
which results in a different underlying environment.

Question:  When you say you are seeing the same behavior in FLTK as in Qt, is
that using the --no-gui-libs option?
