Follow-up Comment #3, bug #44571 (project octave): yes, the table type is classdef and (afaik) just a bunch of structs. weeks ago (long before committed to github) I've started table() but get stuck while overloading subsref and subsasgn. This is absolutly necessary to feel comfortable with table().
