Follow-up Comment #2, bug #44445 (project octave):

For inputParser, I see at the top of the console, before the welcome text:

warning: function .\inputParser.m shadows a core library function



For the variables test, adding a variable to get the current directory at the
top of the variables tests, it is starting in my home directory which has many
folders and files, and so fails as it expects the third file entry to be a
file.
