Follow-up Comment #4, bug #44125 (project octave):
I just verified - rebuilding 3.8.2 using all the same other libraries
(ghostscript, libpng, epstool etc) as I had built the 4.1.0+ version.
In 3.8.2, the printed plot in fltk displays ok. In 4.1.0+, it does not.
