Follow-up Comment #42, bug #42534 (project octave):

I've had a short opportunity to test my Octave build on laptops with different
integrated graphics adapters, and here are some results:

1. Update of Intel GPU drivers does imrove things but does not solve the issue
completely, on some more sophisticated charts primitives may still be missing
-- in my case a couple of bars on a bar chart being plotted in
subplot(2,1,1).
1. When tested on some older (>3 yrs old) laptops with _ATI Radeon_ integrated
graphics, the problem shows up in an even worse light -- apart from missing
primitives, some lines' points are being connected in a wrong order, even
though they looked fine on a screen. Unfortunately there were no available
driver updates on a laptop manufacturer's web site, but when I used the same
Octave build on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04, being installed on those machines, I had
no issues with the same charts. So this is most likely the issue of win
drivers. But with ATI in this case.
1. Putting Mesa opengl32.dll from the qt-project site to the Octave's bin
folder didn't help in eiher cases

In all cases I used exatly the same Octave build on a freshly installed
Windows 7.
