Follow-up Comment #19, bug #41699 (project octave): Running 'test imread' does not cause a segfault on exit on Linux. But loading the original tif you provided does. I think this is tied to OpenMP. The GraphicsMagick library is built with OpenMP and Octave is not (by default). If I use --enable-openmp when building Octave, there is no segfault.
