Follow-up Comment #1, bug #41340 (project octave):

>From the source file the action chosen in the context menu is always applied
to the selected item(s) and not to the one that was right-clicked. In my
opinion a right click on a not selected should change the selection and the
chosen action is always applied to the selected item(s).
