Details:

One of the most useful features of the Matlab-IDE that I use on a daily basis
is the possibility to open the currently selected function in the editor.

 myFunction(a,b)
...
 
Suppose you have the above code and what to look at the source of myFunction,
simply place your cursor somewhere in the text myFunction and Press Ctrl+D to
open the myFunction.m in the editor. You can also select parts of text, to
open a file with that: for example: select only "myFun" and the GUI should try
to open myFun.m
It also should work from the command window. Use case: which myFun -all. Then
select the path and press the hotkey und can browser the source.
